Job Profile:

We are looking for candidates having Accounts background along with competency in MS applications including word, excel and PowerPoint for the position of Accountant. Candidates must have with good communication & writing skill and are willing to work with Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) at block level. Candidates will be given preference having working knowledge of Tally.

Experience: 1+ Year of experience. Fresher may also apply.

Job Description “Accountant” for FPO

Accountant is the key person for home office management along with the financial management of FPO. Accountant helps to provide various financial data which helps the management to take various decisions regarding business and financial management. Accountant prepares documentation for audits. He/She ensures financial records are accurate throughout the year.

Chief Executive Officer for Farmer Producer Organization (FPO)

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assisting for Administrative and Financial Management of FPO
  • Ensuring all compliances as per timeline are completed of various departments like RoC, Income Tax, Sales Tax, Licenses issued from Agriculture Department (Seed, Pesticide, Fertilzer), Food license, trade license etc.
  • Bookkeeping of FPO
  • Maintain attendance Register and Leave Card of FPO staffs
  • Collect Monthly plan and Timesheet from all Staffs and send to Board and CBBO/Implementing Agency(IA) for approval and guidance
  • Assisting Coordination, Reporting and Documentation of FPO
  • Management of FPO Office, Sales Counter, Extension Counter, Stock, Asset and other materials of FPO
  • Maintaining FPO Database of Farmers/Shareholders
  • Assisting collection of monthly report, quarterly report, annual report, success stories and MIS
  • Logistic arrangement to organize Training of Farmers
  • Collection of monthly reimbursement documents from staffs and preparation of monthly claim documents to Board
  • Maintaining soft and hard copy of FPO documents, reports and other important communication related to FPO and other projects assigned to FPO
  • Achieving the deliverables of the FPO/other project assigned to FPO as per timeline
  • Tracking the Achievement of the Deliverables of the FPO as per timeline and as per intimation of CBBO/IA/CSS
  • Any other job responsibility given by your reporting officer from time to time.
