As child rights are subject to human rights and women rights subject to entitlements claim. YK-LIBRA takes active initiative to aware the children on ill effect of child marriage and child labor. Group work is done with the children to develop their leadership quality. Children are encouraged to take part in different types of competition in order to boost their confidence and creativity. Similarly, the youths are encouraged to participate in the activities like blood donation camp, Swachh Bharat Mission, voluntary services during emergence etc which help them to contribute towards nation building and leadership development. In context to women empowerment, YK-LIBRA since its inception has promoted SHGs and facilitated various training, business plan for women SHGs. Various income generation activities are commenced to make them economically empowered. Business Development Programs are also implemented to turn them as successful entrepreneurs. Even campaign and need based trainings are provided to women, so that they can be self-sustainable in society with better participation in decision making process and active involvement in socio, economic & political sphere. The Child Rights, Women Empowerment and Leadership Development program are being operationalized in 3 States namely Odisha, Tripura and West Bengal covering 7 Districts, 35 Blocks and 280 villages with 5,000 Households.
